The flavour of marketing a national brand
Venue: Conference Suite, Harrogate International Centre, Kings Road, Harrogate, Yorkshire, HG1 5LA
Speaker: John Tague
We are delighted to host this event within the International Enterprise Promotion Convention featuring John Tague, Managing Director of Seabrook Crisps. Seabrook Crisps was founded in 1945 by Charles Brook, and it is believed the name arose due to an error in a photo processing shop; instead of writing C. Brook on his film, the clerk wrote Seabrook, and the name stuck. The original Seabrook factory was in the Allerton area of Bradford, opening a larger factory in the Princeville area during 1979/80. Seabrook are known for making 'strange' flavoured crisps (Indian tandoori, Mexican chilli and wasabi) along with the more conventional flavours (salt and vinegar, ready salted, unsalted and cheese and onion). John Tague will be talking about how Seabrook Crisps have continued to grow as a business, and developed its brand offering to the retail market sector, through sound marketing principles and strategies. Registration from 18:00, the event begins at 19:00 and finishes at 20:00. Anyone wishing to attend the International Enterprise Promotion Convention please visit the website using the above link.
Fee payable: Members free / Non-members £25.00
