A&A Faculty Roadshow - Complying with the new Clarity ISAs
Venue: Cedar Court Hotel, Denby Dale Road, Calder Grove, Wakefield, WF4 3QZ
Speaker: John Selwood ACA
Following on from the faculty's 2010 roadshow series, this event is intended to help auditors continue up the learning curve on the new clarified ISAs (UK and Ireland). Using feedback from the ICAEW QAD, Technical Enquiry Service, cold file reviewers and practitioners on the problem areas in the clarified standards, this roadshow series will provide practical solutions and guidance on what is expected of auditors while answering the most important and common questions. The roadshow will provide authoritative guidance to help auditors to master the more difficult areas and help firms to feel more confident that they have the knowledge and the procedures in place to ensure a good level of compliance. The QAD are reporting that some auditors continue to have documentation problems in areas where the changes under the clarified standards are minimal like understanding the entity, fraud and risk assessment, so these areas will also be covered. The faculty has also received feedback that some of the detailed changes in the standards are not always being fully understood and that practical problems are being experienced. See website for costs.
