Finance professionals have a key role to play in analysing and explaining costs to decision makers. You will also have to convince your organisation of the need for a cost conscious culture and that it should be central to all managers responsibilities. Nigel Hiller, Chair of CIPFA’s Financial Management Panel and Director of Finance at South Yorkshire Police will be sharing examples of how an understanding of costs has brought benefits. This seminar will familiarise delegates with the provisions of FA 2011 and provide a round up of other recent relevant tax developments including press releases, changes to HMRC guidance, current areas of consultation and recent court decisions.
