The internet continues to provide an increasing number of opportunities for small to medium businesses but its complex and sophisticated nature leaves many open to serious cyber security risks. This full day annual event is an excellent opportunity to hear from industry renowned speakers on the topical area of cyber security, both practically and strategically. The morning session is a workshop led by the Business Crime Reduction Centre concentrating on cyber security training, both threats and prevention, together with an update on data protection issues. In the afternoon, the conference will explore comparative approaches to cyber crime and discuss privacy, information technology and others e-crime issues. The morning session is also free, but for non-members who wish to stay for lunch and attend the afternoon session, the cost will be £20 plus VAT.
