PINS West Yorkshire Event
Thursday 23 June 2011, 14.30-17.00, Organiser: CIPFA
Round table forum considering the budgetary pressures facing the public sector
Venue: Novotel, Leeds, LS1 4HR
The forum is designed to bring together key CIPFA members from across the Region, with the focus of the event being upon giving you the tools to increase your organisation’s efficiency quickly and easily by automating business critical processes, such as your procurement and finance functions. The event is being run in conjunction with Basware who are the global leader in purchase-to-pay automation. This event will allow you to explore the options available to you in relation to your business critical processes and how to achieve back office savings without having to cut your front line services. You may wish to use the forum to network with neighbouring public sector bodies with a view to possibly creating/joining up shared service centres or other positive avenues. The forum will commence at 2.30pm with light refreshments and will conclude by 5.00pm. To enable you to gain the maximum benefit from the forum, two places have been reserved for you, allowing you to bring a colleague such as the Head of your Payments Section or Head of Procurement. If you would like to attend the forum, please e-mail yorksandhumber@cipfa.org.uk by Wednesday 15th June 2011 providing the names and e-mail addresses of the delegates who wish to attend the event. A confirmation of your booking and joining instructions will be sent at least one week prior to the event.
