Given the tough times that we have experienced over the last couple of years, JCI Leeds have decided to give JCI members and non-members some tips and best practice to succeeding and winning in today’s challenging business environment. Your host and compere for the evening will be Steve Parks, an ex-BBC radio journalist, professional speaker, author and entrepreneur Our guest speakers will include: 1. Tom Riordan, Chief Executive of Leeds City Council 2. Carolyn Pearson, Acting Head of Business Systems at the BBC and CEO and Founder at maiden-voyage.com 3. Di Burton, Managing Director of Cicada Communications 4. Andy McMenemy, Inspirational speaker, Mentor and Ultra Marathon Runner (completed 66 ultra marathons in 66 consecutive days from each of the 66 official UK cities). Steve will be introducing, interviewing and fielding questions to our panel of experts to cover: -Businesses that are bucking the current trend through entrepreneurship and technology -Development of people in order to help you do the same. The event will consist of dedicated networking slots, food, refreshments and the lecture itself. The event will be followed by an exclusive after party at All Bar One (Millennium Square) with special drinks promotions on the night.
